If you jam to good vibes and appreciate heightened lyrics, then you should definitely give this Southern California based Hip-Hop group a listen. They call it alternative hip-hop and that description matches up perfectly with their groovy vibe. Certainly not your generic hip-hop sound, FRTNK represents the progression and combination of rhyme and real instruments. When listening to this funky crew you will catch some explosive guitar riffs, a psychedelic tempo, and vocals that remind the ears of Andre from Outkast. Currently in the studio working on their first album, this group already has some awesome and unique songs like “Take Off” and “Lorraine” which can both be found on their SoundCloud
